MNPS Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Clean Up Day is a hands-on volunteer opportunity to support our incredible arts educators and programs! This event is all about teamwork, organization, and setting the stage for another successful year of creativity and learning.
About VAPA:
Our building houses all MNPS arts and music supplies not currently in use in school buildings across the district. Music, art, and dance teachers often visit this space to have professional development or to check out materials. We also have a LOT of musical instruments and arts materials that need organized, cleaned, or moved.
About this Volunteer Event:
Volunteers will help with a variety of important tasks, including:
- Cleaning and tidying common areas and instructional spaces
- Organizing musical instruments and equipment
- Sorting and labeling classroom materials and supplies
- Refreshing storage areas for improved accessibility
- Helping prepare our space for workshops, meetings, and programming
Last year’s Clean Up Day was a huge success thanks to our amazing volunteers. With your help again, we can continue to ensure our building is a welcoming, inspiring environment for teachers, students, and staff alike.
Come dressed for light cleaning and lifting, and be ready to make a big difference in just a few hours. We’ll provide all supplies—and plenty of appreciation!
