In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service, Cockrill Elementary is hosting a special MLK Volunteer Day and invites members of the Divine 9 (Black Greek Lettered Organizations) to join us in supporting our school community.
Volunteers will assist with two meaningful projects that directly support families in need:

Creating food boxes for Cockrill families
- Organizing and cleaning the resource room to ensure ongoing accessibility and ease of use for families

9:00 AM – Volunteer sign-in

9:20 AM – Teams assigned and shown workspaces

Team 1: Cleaning and organizing the resource room

Team 2: Assembling food boxes

12:00 PM – Volunteer shift concludes
